About Deborah
Empowering Kingdom Authors to
Changing Mindsets, Shifting Culture, Advancing God's Kingdom

Her Story
For thirty years, Deborah stood at the front of classrooms — teaching middle and high school English, advising student newspapers, building writing labs, and watching young people discover the power of their own words. With a B.S. in Communication Arts and a Master's in Education, she understood language not just as a subject, but as a calling.
For the past 28 years, she has served at Heirs Covenant Church — first as a member of the worship team, and now as Pastor of Music, Worship, and Arts. She writes curriculum, develops programs, and trains teachers. It was there, in 2015, that she held her first writer's workshop — and F.L.O.W. was born.
The Moment That Changed Everything
But even as she poured her gifts into others, her own books sat waiting. She had the skill. She had the prophetic words. She had the dream that had lived in her since childhood. What she also had was fear — fear of putting herself out there, fear of imperfection, fear of what it would mean to truly step into what God said about her.
Then came the moment she pushed past it.
In 2009, Deborah published her first book — God Speaks: Words for the Journey from the Father's Heart. Since then she has authored four books and dedicated herself to helping Kingdom authors do what she once struggled to do herself: write the book, face the fear, and trust God with the rest.
She has stood before hundreds — in Russia, South Africa, Thailand, and across the United States. And she will tell you honestly — she is still not fully comfortable doing any of it. What she has learned is this: God doesn't call the equipped. He equips the called.

The Heart and Art of Storytelling:
Women's Ministry
In His Image Kingdom Women's Network
In 2003, God gave Deborah a vision — a glimpse of a ministry for women built around identity, purpose, and healing. She began mentoring women, and though life's demands paused that work after two years, the call never left.
More than twenty years later, God spoke again. And in 2025, In His Image Kingdom Women's Network was born — a sacred space for Kingdom women to discover identity, activate their spiritual gifts, heal wounded souls, and connect with like-minded sisters in Christ.
Whether you come to Deborah as a writer with a book inside you that won't let you rest, or as a woman searching for a safe place to heal and grow — you will leave seen, inspired, and more confident in who God created you to be.
The book is already inside you.
The woman you were created to be is already there.
Sometimes you just need a midwife.
